This twin-screw tug, built in 1965 by McDermott Shipyard Inc. and rated at 1,600 horsepower, has been a true workhorse for decades. We were proud to support her with repairs and help keep her going strong.

This 167-ton Subchapter M push boat measures 56.5’ long with a 22.1’ beam—and she’s looking sharp from every angle.

Our team assisted the customer through a successful USCG Hull Inspection and completed touch-up work on the underwater hull paint to keep her shipshape and ready to push forward.

We’re proud to have received a Carolopolis Award for the preservation of our Yonges Island office — a project that honors the building’s historic character and reflects our long-standing commitment to the Lowcountry.

This restoration celebrates more than just architecture — it’s a tribute to the craftsmanship and heritage that define our community.

A heartfelt thank you to our partners at @urbanelectricco, along with interior designer @jennykeenandesign, architect Eddie Fava, and contractor Alex Johnson, for helping us preserve a piece of local history.

For nearly a century, Stevens Towing has called the Lowcountry home, and we’re honored to be part of the 1,400+ Carolopolis projects that have shaped Charleston’s story since 1953.

On May 22, Stevens Towing partnered with St. Paul’s Fire District for a confined space training exercise at our Yonges Island Shipyard. This live-action drill gave first responders vital hands-on experience using specialized rescue equipment—ensuring they’re ready when every second counts.

We're proud to have sponsored the funding for this equipment last year, reinforcing our commitment to safety. Our ongoing partnership with St. Paul’s is essential to protecting both our team members and the greater community in confined space emergencies.
