Our friends at @condustrialstaffing recently treated the Stevens Towing crew to barbecue and a boil from locally owned Walker’s Catering.

A chance to put down the tools, catch up, and enjoy some time together.

That fire? It was all part of the plan.

Stevens Towing recently welcomed St. Paul's Fire District to our Yonges Island Shipyard for a live firefighting training exercise.

The realistic training scenario gave local firefighters the chance to practice responding to emergencies in a maritime environment while helping all of us strengthen communication and preparedness.

We're grateful for our partnership with St. Paul's Fire District and proud to support training that helps keep our crews, our waterways, and our Lowcountry community safe.

The first half of 2026 was a busy one for Stevens Towing.

Our tugboats and barges stayed on the move supporting project cargo and construction work, while our Yonges Island Shipyard welcomed everything from U.S. Coast Guard cutters and cruise ships to ferries, tugboats, barges, dredges, and marine construction vessels.

We also started construction on two new ABS-class deck barges to meet the growing needs of our customers.

A big thank you to our crews, shipyard team, and customers for making the first half of 2026 such a success. We're looking forward to what's ahead!

A 2013 graduate of the Academy and standout member of the Men's Soccer program, Kurt is one of six alumni who will be inducted during the Academy's Homecoming and Hall of Fame Weekend this September.
