Our US Flag Jones Act Vessel, the Coastal Venture was recently loaded at Ocean Terminal in the Port of Savannah, GA with a 297 MT Mitsubishi turbine which is currently on its way to Seattle, WA. Upon arrival in Seattle, the piece will be lifted off the ship and loaded onto a deck barge by General Construction with their 700 ton floating ringer crane. The piece will be pushed by a tug on a barge up the Columbia River and rolled off and taken to its final destination of Portland, Oregon.
