Stevens Towing was proud to be chosen by the North Carolina Coastal Federation and NOAA to build 2 large Oyster Reefs in the Pamlico Sound. Stevens Towing moved and deployed over 54,000 tons of limestone rock for the project in just over 9 months. Located near Cape Hatteras, NC and near Stumpy Point, NC the project, which employeed over 85 people throuhout all construction phases was part of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.
